People come looking for skills.
They leave with a new way of thinking.
It’s the process that makes the difference.
For a long time, I thought it was my content that helped people make their thinking travel.
The frameworks. The clever bits. The skills.
But after thousands of conversations, a clearer pattern emerged.
Most people don’t need more ideas. They need a way to make sense of the ones they already have.
This work uses a simple process to slow things down, surface insight, and turn fuzzy thinking into something shared.
The turning point is capturing the thinking,
not just talking about it.
When stories and ideas are captured through a recording, people hear themselves clearly and see the impact their words and experiences have on others.
The process creates enough pressure to clarify thinking, spotlight experience, and create a powerful artefact to build internal or external support.
That’s why the skills last. They’re learned, tested and felt.
The group may change in size.
The process doesn’t.

When the stakes rise, they don’t doubt what they know; they doubt whether their knowledge will translate into shared understanding.

It’s 6 × 90-minute online sessions (or in-person when it works).
I bring a five-step process, you bring the context, and together we create clarity.
We establish a repeatable and reliable system that allows your thinking to come through clearly when it counts.
-
How it feels
It’s a bit like a long-form podcast interview that no one else is ever going to listen to. I’ll ask lots of questions, you’ll be surprised at how easy they are to answer. What it does
My outside eyes and ears begin to hear and see those things you don’t anymore. We’ll uncover patterns, beliefs, gaps and opportunities. What we get
Insight. Clarity. Direction. -
This happens out of session.
Me
This part is mostly me. I go back over the session and our notes and start mapping the key messages that will lead you to resonance. You
You’ll keep thinking, you’ll have ideas, and you’ll do all those other things that happen when you remember why you do what you do, and why it matters. It’ll feel good. -
This is where we step-up the ‘doing’.
We each bring back our reflections post step 2.
Over (approx) two sessions, we pinpoint barriers, reframe angles, craft key messages, identify stories, connect the data, and crystallise the value.
We think, test and practice out loud until your message is clear enough to make sense to anyone.
You’ll feel ready to share your ideas using multiple techniques.
In the process, we unlock your communication superpowers. Yeah, we do.
-
This is the game-changer.
We record you sharing your message to create the right amount of pressure to test the work we’ve done.
However, it’s more than a test. It’s a:
Dress rehearsal (for a presentation, meeting, interview, marketing campaign etc),
The creation of highly shareable content (to use in marketing, presentations, onboarding processes etc), and,
A way for you to see yourself as others do/will.
The recording is professionally produced into a format that works best for your needs.
Then we wait… and watch it resonate.
-
It’s crunch time!
Kidding. It’s learning time.
We gather feedback from the recording, reflect, and refine.
We design rituals to make sure your new way of thinking about and sharing your knowledge stick
You end up with a repeatable process you can use over and over and over and over (x 30) again.
-
All the feels, along with:
A clear sense of who you’re speaking to and what drives them.
Key messages that matter to them, and sound like you, every time.
A set of stories you can rely on and reel off with ease.
Less friction, less frustration, less… FFS’s
More confidence, more clarity, more connection.
Better team decisions, better staff retention, better organisational outcomes
A new way of working you’ll use long after we’re done.
-
Live sessions, not modules, created specifically for you.
Regular check-ins, resources, questions, emails and ideas in-between sessions (but only when useful).
Practical tools and templates you’ll keep using.
Mock-interview with an industry-level ‘air-checks’.
A professional recording/s.
A (fun) experiment done in real time.
Professionally produced collateral.
Clear next steps, not a pile of notes.
Woo woo worthy rituals. Kidding, there’s nothing woo woo about rituals.

This is a workshop series that doesn’t just bond a team, it bonds them to something, like super glue.
It creates a shared understanding of why their work matters and a clearer way to talk about it.
Across a mix of longer, hands-on workshops and shorter online sessions, we surface what the team knows, cares about, and believes, then shape it into key messages and simple stories others can understand.
Importantly, we record these stories, creating just enough pressure to take the work seriously, but enough safety that they see their value reflected back.
Each workshop is the perfect coming together of everything your team knows about their project, and everything I know about getting the right people to care about it.
-
How it feels
A Teams meeting that hits different. We bring team members together on Zoom (already hitting different), and have a facilitated group chat. However, it’s less like a meeting and more like an expert panel session at a conference. It has purpose, pace, and, you guessed it, Penny (that’s me.)What it does
It provides the space and structure to surface what’s really happening. Perspectives are shared differently and heard differently, uncovering things that have been forgotten, and what really matters most. To everyone. Not just the loudest, or the smartest, or the coolest. Everyone. What we get
A reframed perspective on what this team is doing, why it matters, what it looks like and the role that each person plays. -
This happens out of session.
Me
This part is mostly me. I go back over the recording of our group conversation, my notes, and the inevitable insights that will continue to come through from team members. I analyse the tensions, patterns, gaps, barriers, impacts and motivations. I’m looking for the through line that helps the team see their combined value and will help them share it with others. The Team
They’ll probably go and join a pub choir because they’re suddenly all singing from the same songbook. Probably. -
This is the bit that you imagined when you read the word ‘team workshop’.
If it looks like professional development, sounds like professional development, then it’s probably boring. This is not that.
This is a full-day (usually off-site) workshop. Sometimes teams prefer a day and a half. And they are right to prefer that, it’s the better version.
This is where I bring my analysis to the room, and the room brings it to life. We set frames, we shape words, we craft stories, we test angles, but most importantly, we align around a core idea.
Each person finds a way to share a consistent message through their voice, realising their value in the process.
Team members identify, craft and practice sharing simple stories that make the project’s purpose and impact obvious to anyone.
This is where team members really ‘see’ each other for the first time.
This bit is the shiz. Do not rush past this bit.
-
The recording isn’t an add-on. It’s the moment everything clicks.
Knowing something will be recorded changes the way the team works together. People listen more carefully. They choose their words well. They get clearer on what really matters. They think about who they are and what matters. When they hear themselves back, they often realise how much value they hold.
The process builds trust and alignment. The recording makes it visible.
What we record depends on the team and the moment.
A project team might record impact stories for stakeholders.
An executive team might record short stories about values and decisions to share internally.
A leadership team might record conversations that explain the thinking behind a change.
A team focused on connection might record personal stories about why this work matters to them.
Sometimes it’s a series. Sometimes it’s one well-chosen piece. What matters is that it’s useful, honest, and able to travel.
You leave with a recording that can be shared, revisited, and trusted. A clear expression of purpose, thinking, and intent. Something people are proud of, and others actually want to listen to.
I edit and produce everything, and help you decide the best ways to use it.
-
We get the band back together.
We get together for a 90-minute online session once the recordings have been tested in the wild.
We bring in data and share feedback.
We reflect and pinpoint those key actions that led to success.
We then refine and ritualise so those actions become the new normal and you don’t need to get me back in again!
The way the team works is different now. They’re aligned as a group, yet understand the value of each individual. Importantly, they know why their project matters and how to share it well.
-
Stuff you can’t buy in shops, like:
Agreed key messages that the whole team feels comfortable saying out loud, their way.
A playlist of real stories that demonstrate purpose, value and meaning.
A deeper understanding of each other and the value each member brings (told you you couldn’t buy it.)
Fewer crossed wires, faster decisions and less rework (as above).
More engagement, more buy-in, more impact, more fun, more often.
-
All five steps, including facilitation, materials, analysis, recording, production, and big development energy.
Practical reusable tools and templates.
Useful resources to watch, listen to and read drip-fed the series. (Everything the team needs, nothing they don’t.)
Extra group check-ins, as required.
No boring things. Ever.
Me. You get me for the duration.
OrganisationsMeaning that travels (and transcends).
For organisations (or projects) where purpose, impact and connection need to be seen, felt and remembered.

Creating something that resonates at this scale changes everything.
This is about creating a content series that aligns people to something, but also to each other.
It might be a podcast, a series of videos showing the impact of your work, an onboarding or leadership program, testimonial videos, or even a series of live (and recorded) events.
Your people are the centre of the work. That might be the employees, clients, stakeholders or participants.
I work closely with a selected group to help them share their stories in ways that are clear, grounded, memorable and will deliver a pre-determined outcome.
We plan the series together, produce it with care, and publish it with intention.
Editorial direction and talent decisions are made in partnership, while the production is done by me and my team,
This work create belonging at scale.

How it feels
It’s like a pre-interview/briefing conversation you might have with a documentary maker. You can expect I’ll be just as nosy, but much less flashy. What it does
It helps me spot the gaps, the goals, the barriers, understand the ‘audience’ we’re creating the series for, and what it needs to do.What we get
Context. It’s impossible to create something that resonates until we understand the ‘frequency’ your people are currently operating on. It’s only then that we can match that frequency and move it to where it needs to be. -
Me
This part is mostly me. I’ll begin sorting all the information we uncovered during Step 1 and create a backbone for the series. That is, pulling together the key… vertebrae… that will allow this series to stand on its own two legs without falling over. Think: theme, tone, style, length, timeline, budget, outcomes. You
There will be some digging for you to do and some questions for you to answer. They’re often about the simple things like calendars, policies, and availability. -
This is the pre-production.
We finalise the plan, we refine the brief, we identify the talent, we create a marketing plan, we set a timeline, sign the documents*, and we organise the logistics.
We’ll create all the collaterals you’ll need to make the whole process easy and meaningful for the ‘talent’, and straightforward for you.
After this stage, we are ready to do the doing.
*nothing to panic about here. Just standard procedure stuff, which may be inductions for me or audio and video releases for the talent.
-
It’s business time.
We’re in full production mode now, and we’re digging out the gold.
You can expect to feel all the feels as everyone (including me) gets blown away by the hidden value, passion, and heart that starts to come out as we interview your people.
It’s at this stage that the true narrative starts to take shape.
After (or alongside) the recordings, we also begin post-production with editing, mixing, graphic design, collecting marketing collaterals, the approvals process and publishing to a timeline.
And done! You have yourself a powerful series that clearly demonstrates the value of your people and the impact they have. Let’s watch as it resonates.
